Hey,

My name is Patrick Stone.

The work I created at the end of my senior year informed my career path more than I thought it would at the time. What’s Yo Move threw me into the depths of connecting non-traditional areas of design. From motion capture to composing music, choreography, 2D/3D animation, and coding; it all wrapped up in a digital and physical interactive experience that lead me to Sprint.

As a Contract Animator at Sprint’s Yellow Fan Studio, I cranked out some kick-ass work that elevated Sprint’s brand across the US in every format imaginable. I learned a ton from the team there and have kept hold of everything they taught me throughout the long nights and early mornings at Sprint Campus.

During my time with Sprint, I was offered an opportunity to further my digital design knowledge with DEG Digital. I began working as a freelance designer on AMC Theatres’ email campaigns with a few other projects in the mix. 3 months in, I was offered a full-time position as a Designer and haven’t looked back since. I’ve found my stride in bridging the gap between data-driven digital design and 2D/3D animation for email, e-commerce, and social media clientele. My work has helped win new business, bettered our internal processes, and furthered existing client work through multi-channel advertisements. Most notably, I was a part of a silver award-winning team as a designer and animator for the Salvation Army’s Rock the Red Kettle event in the 2020 KCDMA AMBIT.

Today, I work with a second to none team at VMLY&R KC code named, VAULT. Here we provide pre/post-production services to WPP’s world-wide list of clientele. My part in the process consists of 2D/3D animation primarily for social and web platforms.
